"Painful And Heartbreaking" - Bethenny Frankel Breaks News Of Split From Jason Hoppy

Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy have announced that they are separating, after marrying back in 2010. The stars of The Real Housewives of New York are said to have split amicably, according to E! Online and Bethenny released a statement expressing her sadness at the decision, which has come just as the festive season kicks off.

“It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating,” said Bethenny’s statement. “This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother I have to accept as the best choice for our family.” She continued: “We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter who is and will always remain our first priority. This is an immensely painful and heartbreaking time for us.” This isn’t the first time that Hoppy and Frankel’s relationship has seemed to be under duress. Back in May, rumours started that all may not be well with their marriage but they dismissed the gossip at the time.

As well as the statement released through E! Frankel has also posted messages on Twitter, saying “I am heartbroken. I am sad. We will work through this as a family” and “Thank you all so much. You give me so much love, and I am so grateful. It feels like your words could get someone through anything.”
