Malcolm In The Middle Star Frankie Muniz Endures "Mini Stroke"
For those who still watch Malcolm in The Middle, this will have come as a shock, for the show's titular star, it would have been a whole lot worse than that, as at just 26 years of age, he's survived a "mini stroke".
Alerting his fans, as many celebs do these days, Muniz declared the news on twitter, and seeing as he survived, we're calling it good news. "I was in the hospital last Friday. I suffered a 'Mini Stroke', which was not fun at all," he told his 158,000 online followers. "Have to start taking care of my body! Getting old!" he tweeted. His girlfriend, Elycia Turnbow, also took to social media, deciding that her boyfriend laying in a hospital bed was a good time to update her instagram account. She posted a photo of Muniz covering his face with tags on his wrist. Depressing. Still, we're glad he's okay and wish him a full and healthy recovery.
Muniz is, of course, famous for his turn as Malcolm in Malcolm in The Middle. But he made the shock decision, after being such a popular character in the show, to quit acting and race cars for a living. Since then, with his sporty adventure out the way (and it wasn't very successful), he's added music to the strings of his bow, turning out as drummer for indie Kingsfoil. The band are supposed to start touring this week.
