Christopher Nolan Would Make 'extraordinary' Bond Film
Christopher Nolan would make an ''extraordinary'' James Bond film.
'The Dark Knight Rises' and 'Skyfall' special effects supervisor Chris Corbould thinks the 42-year-old director is the perfect pick to spearhead the next 007 movie because he has a deep understanding of the British spy franchise.
The Oscar-winning special effects whiz told DigitalSpy.co.uk: ''Chris [Nolan] is a great fan of Bond films. We spend a lot of time analysing them, him interrogating me on why things were done in certain Bond films. I've done 13 Bonds, so I've got quite a history with them.
''I think he likes the way they're made, some better than others. The end part of the third act in 'Inception' was his little homage to Bond. I would love to see him do one. I think he would make an extraordinary Bond. Having seen 'Skyfall', that's a tough act to follow.''
Although fans and film industry insiders alike have championed self-confessed fan Christopher to helm the 24th Bond film, the director has remained coy about his future plans.
He has said in the past: ''That's very, very flattering. But I haven't figured out what I'm doing next'', adding in a different interview: ''It would have to be the right situation and the right time in their cycle of things.''
