PICTURES: Madonna Joined By Special Guest Psy At Madison Square Garden
Madonna called in to New York's Madison Square Garden for the second night in a row of a tour that's stretched back to before the summer - but this time she had a special guest with her. At one point in the concert, the 53 year-old announced that she was going to sing a song she'd not performed in a while, before launching into 'Give It 2 Me', from 2008. So far so 'meh'. However, midway through the track who should pop up than current internet sensation Psy, spitting lyrics from his ubiquitous hit 'Gangnam Style', the both of them performing the infamous dance moves from the video for the song. The pair also duetted on Madonna's smash hit 'Music'. Check out the fan video below!
Elsewhere, the night was more in keeping with what we've come to expect from the star's trans-continental MDNA tour, with an array of outfits - some more appropriate than others - stripteases and general raunchiness punctuating a setlist that drew from her 30 years in the business.
The Washington Post reported that Madonna had also been collecting money for those affected by superstorm Hurricane Sandy, asking fans to throw money onto the stage. She apparently collected $3000 on the first of her two nights at the famous squared venue. The Queen of Pop's exhaustive tour has four more dates left in her native US, before the star moves down to South America for a string of gigs that'll finish up in Argentina on December 22.
What did we think of Madonna's album MDNA when it came out earlier this year?
