Karlie Kloss' Appearance Pulled From Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

Producers behind the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show have pulled model Karlie Kloss' catwalk performance from their upcoming U.S. Tv special following complaints about her Native _A_merican-style headdress.

The beauty hit the runway last week (begs05Nov12) in a buckskin bikini, turquoise jewellery, and a towering feather headdress for the New York City taping, which will air in _A_merica on 4 December (12).

But leaked images of the 20 year old's look, designed to celebrate _A_merica's Thanksgiving holiday (22Nov12), have caused an uproar among the Native _A_merican community for its misrepresentation of their cultural attire, prompting executives to cut Kloss' controversial outfit from the broadcast.

A statement issued by bosses at lingerie firm Victoria's Secret reads, "We are sorry that the Native _A_merican headdress replica used in our recent fashion show has upset individuals. We sincerely apologise as we absolutely had no intention to offend anyone. Out of respect, we will not be including the outfit in any broadcast, marketing materials nor in any other way."

_A_nd Kloss has echoed her Victoria's Secret bosses' sentiments - in a post on Twitter.com, she writes, "I am deeply sorry if what I wore during the Vs Show offended anyone. I support Vs's decision to remove the outfit from the broadcast."

The news comes just weeks after rockers No Doubt were forced to pull the music video for their latest track Looking Hot after frontwoman Gwen Stefani angered fans by wearing a similar Native _A_merican-style headdress.
