Britney Spears Wins At Court As Sam Lufti's Case Is Thrown Out
After six days of testimonies, Sam Lufti didn't manage to prove his case against Britney Spears or her family, and as such couldn't convince the judge of his argument. The case has now been thrown out of court by the judge, who said "I really thought long and hard about this. It's the right thing to do", reports People.
Sam Lufti had been suing Britney Spears and her parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears. Lufti claimed that Britney had never paid him for working as her manager in 2007, accused Jamie of punching him, and accused Lynne of defamation in her book 'Through the Storm'. Spears' attorney, Leon Gladstone said "We're delighted, we feel it's the right result." Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Suzanne Bruguera said that he didnt have a case, and agreed with Spears' lawyers as they argued that Lufti had been unable to bring any solid evidence to court, according to TMZ.
Showing 'no emotion' on leaving the court, Lufti said that he would appeal the judge's decision. Meanwhile, Britney's life is as good as it's been for a long time, looks fit and toned while she judges on the American X-Factor, and currently engaged to Jason Trawick.
