Kelly Osbourne: From Ultimate Fashion Fail To Ultimate Style Icon At Cosmo Awards

Kelly Osbourne proves she's blossomed over the years by bagging the prestigious Cosmopolitan award of Ultimate Style Icon for her uniquely glam look.

The former singer and daughter of Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne has been ripped to shreds by the media in past years for being slightly on the larger side and adopting various rather bizarre rock chick outfits, however since losing a massive 65lbs, dying her hair a soft lilac and applying less glaring make-up, she seems to have become a massive fashion icon overnight. 'I used to look like s**t', the star said while receiving her accolade at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of The Year Awards 2012 in London. 'I never thought I'd get a style award. Cosmo putting me on their cover a couple of years ago did wonders for my self-esteem.'

For the event she was the epitome of elegance with her curled purple locks cascading down one shoulder, a calf-length silver dress with a floral pattern and sheer panels and gem-studded peep-toe heels. As stunning as she looked, she's going to have to do better than that to beat her head-turning 2012 Emmys look; an event which saw her sashaying down the red carpet in an extremely flattering fishtail dress that matched her hair which was scooped back in a simple but pretty ponytail. That could've been the look that won her the Cosmo award, which is just as well because she teamed the outfit with a $250,000 nail polish containing 267 carats of black diamonds. Pricey, but worth it to be the Ultimate Style Icon?
