Mumford And Sons are set to show off their brand new album ‘Babel’ on a two month long UK and Ireland tour entitled Tour of Two Halves.

The folk quartet will grace the stages of theatres and arenas all across the UK this autumn/ winter with their highly anticipated promotional tour. The first half will kick off at Torquay’s Princess Theatre on November 21st 2012 with a further five theatre dates to follow, closing with a show in Wales at Llandudno’s Venue Cymru on the 27th. The second half will hit the UK’s arenas beginning with the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle on December 4th 2012 and coming to an end at London’s O2 Arena on the 10th. Tickets are scheduled to commence sales this week on September 28th at a reasonable £23.50 for the November leg and £29.50 for December.

Their second studio album ‘Babel’ was released yesterday (September 24th 2012) on the same day they made a headlining appearance at the iTunes Festival at The Roundhouse in London. It looks set to become a major hit if their 2009 debut multi-platinum certified, BRIT Award winning album ‘Sigh No More’ is anything to go by; a record which peaked at number two in the UK and US charts and number one in the US Alternative chart.
