Lady Gaga: 'Divorce Will Never Be An Option For Me'

Pop star Lady GaGa has vowed to wed once and only once, insisting, "Divorce is not an option".
The Bad Romance hitmaker has struggled to find lasting love in recent years and she reportedly split from actor Taylor Kinney last month (Apr12) due to the pressures of her career and her new world tour.
But the 26 year old admits she has no problem taking her time and waiting for the right person because she believes a marital commitment is forever.
During an appearance on new talk show The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet, which aired in America on Thursday (03May12), she said, "My grandmother... was married to my grandfather for 60 years. My parents are still together 30 years. Divorce is not an option for me. It's like, 'I'm gonna get married and that's it. He's stuck with me.'"
And although Gaga understands there may be bumps along the road, she wants a partner who will hold their vows sacred - just like her parents Joe and Cynthia Germanotta have.
She adds, "I've seen my mother and father stick it out. There was a time when I was younger when I really thought they might get divorced. They were fighting all the time. My mother was a mess, my dad was a mess, but they really stuck it out, and now, all this time later... my parents are more in love now than they've ever been in their life and they're just so, so happy. And that's what I want.
"I want to eventually find a man that feels the same way - about divorce not being an option. Working through everything together, even if it's the hardest thing you've ever been through, you just stick it out."
