Pete Doherty To Auction Amy Winehouse Painting

  • 04 May 2012

A painting created by late singer Amy Winehouse and her rocker pal Pete Doherty using their own blood is set to fetch $128,000 (£80,000) at auction.
The joint artwork, titled Ladylike, was unveiled by The Libertines frontman Doherty at an exhibition earlier this year (12) and now it's set to be the showpiece lot at an auction of his belongings.
Other items going under the hammer next week (beg07May12) include a selection of the rocker's guitars, stage outfits and lyric books. A portion of profits from the sale will be donated to The Amy Winehouse Foundation, a charity set up after the Rehab singer's death last year (11).
