Taylor Swift Braves British Weather For Sightseeing Tour

  • 25 January 2012

Taylor Swift has been spotted out and about in London, visiting some of the capital's finest tourist spots. Fresh from a spot of networking at Utah's Sundance Film Festival, Taylor flew to London, apparently to begin rehearsals for her performance in the up-coming screen version of Les Miserables. The Daily Mail's article today showed a number of photos of her enjoying the sights and sounds of the city.
Taylor took a stroll around Hyde Park, shielding herself from the British weather with a large umbrella. Whilst there, she stopped to observe the Princess Diana Memorial; a fountain which was opened officially by Queen Elizabeth II in 2004. She also ventured to London Zoo with a friend before taking in some of London's quirkier shopping opportunities. She was photographed shopping in Portobello Road, West London. The antique furniture dealer, Alice's is said to have closed especially for Taylor, though it's unknown if she purchased any of the unusual pieces. Once she was done taking in a slice of British history, she treated herself to a sweet treat at the upmarket chocolatier, Charbonnel et Walker on old Bond Street.
The 'Fearless' singer looked prepared for England's rain, wrapped up in a duffel coat and brogues in one picture. One person missing from her entourage, though, was the High School Musical star Zac Efron, with whom she is rumored to be romantically linked. Whilst they had both attended the Sundance Festival, Swift arrived alone, whilst Efron was picture partying with ASHLEY TISDALE.
