Jessica Simpson's Pregnant Gas Problems

Jessica Simpson has been "farting" a lot since she has been pregnant.

The 31-year-old singer - who is pregnant with her first child with Eric Johnson - admitted she is suffering with the undesired side-effect of being with child on social networking site twitter.

Jessica retweeted a post stating: "The average person expels flatulence 15 times each day," after which she tweeted: "The average pregnant woman farts 15 times that!"

It is not the first time the blonde beauty has suffered with flatulence issues - in a business meeting in 2010, Jessica let out a fart in front of executives and her mother.

A source said: "While one of the executives was speaking in a room full of five people, Jessica let out a very large fart."

She herself has previously confessed to passing a lot of wind, but has claimed it is not a problem because it has a particularly pleasant smell.

She said: "I do pass gas a lot. But I guarantee you it smells like roses."
