Joanna Lumley Suffered Trench Foot On Desert Island

British actress Joanna Lumley suffered trench foot after spending nine days alone on a remote desert island.
The former Bond girl was cast away on an island to test her survival skills for the 1994 Tv documentary Girl Friday.
And now she has revealed the experience left her with trench foot - and she was forced to fashion footwear from her bra to prevent the condition worsening.
Lumley tells U.K. TV show This Morning, "For nine days I had nothing - no toothbrush, no toothpaste, no bed, no nothing. No spoon, no fork. Jolly little food. And I had knives to cut, and I made shoes out of my bra because my feet began to get trench foot."
Trench foot is a painful medical condition caused by prolonged exposure of the feet to damp, unsanitary conditions.
