Gene Simmons Told To Keep It Serious When He Weds On Saturday

Rocker Gene Simmons has been told to be on his best behaviour when he weds longtime partner Shannon Tweed in Beverly Hills on Saturday (01Oct11) - because his girlfriend of 28 years won't be amused by jokes or pranks.
The 62-year-old Kiss star finally asked the former Playboy Playmate to be his wife earlier this year (11) after a bust-up that featured on reality TV show Gene Simmons' Family Jewels - and Tweed wants this weekend's big day at the Beverly Hills Hotel to be a very special, serious occasion.
In a pre-wedding interview with U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight, Tweed clenched her right fist and told the rock star, "You make one joke at the altar, one joke... bada-bing (I'll hit you)."
And Simmons understands Saturday will be a day to keep things serious: "If you ask my opinion I'll tell you, but otherwise I won't say anything."
