Green Axes U.k. The Voice Slot

  • 03 October 2011

Singer Cee Lo Green has cancelled his slot on the British version of singing contest The Voice, because it conflicts with the second series of the U.S. show.
The F**k You hitmaker already sits on the panel Stateside alongside Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
Green admitted earlier this year (11) he had been offered and accepted a role on the programme when it launches in Britain - but he's now had to axe the deal.
A source tells Britain's The Sun, "He'd have been a great signing but he has to commit to the U.S. show."
Rocker Lenny Kravitz, Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole and singer Jessie J have all been rumoured to be in talks for a slot on the series.
