One Little Indian Following the announcement that John Peel’s final session CD was being released in April this year, here is the long-awaited release. The 4 tracks were recorded for one of his legendary sessions and they feature California rockers Hot Snakes. These angry young men must have touched the dj’s heart, because the songs are performed using historical musical equipment, made of Ringo Starr’s and Keith Moon’s drumkits. Opener ‘Braintrust’ is an Iggy-Pop-style angry ballad, while second track ‘This Mystic Decade’ rides the waves of rock and roll in a slightly darker way, with a remarkably screamt chorus.
