Following the success of the Album that was ‘Up All Night’ Razorlight release this single and what a bobby it is. Raw vocals, Johnny Borrel style, are becoming trademark stuff in indie music, or should I say the mainstream music world. Like a mix between Mick Jagger, Julian Casablanca, and the strain of Cobain unplugged style it sounds rather epic yet original too. This tune is a blatant festival sing along song, it even has sound of a live manic crowd dubbed over it, as if it needs it! Starting with what sounds like a piano leading to the gradual climax of Borrel shouting “I really, really wish I could be somewhere else” together with their trademark pummelling strumming method of

If you haven’t heard any of their music before this is a great way to be introduced. It is Razorlight at their most accessible without compromising any of their credibility that they have gradually and rightfully earned. They are a rare band that has both vast bundles of confidence that is on a plateau with their ability to play and write good relevant tunes. If you are going to any festivals this year be sure to look out for them.
