Silt In Line - Single Review
Silt: In Line EP Reviewed Silt: In Line EP Reviewed Icelandic band Silt (aka Botnledja), have come to invade the UK.
Most definitely Iceland's best export this trio are determined to make an impact on any one who crosses their path!
Heidar (vocals and guitar) Raggi (bass) & Halli (drums) formed back in 1995. After 2 years of hard labour they had their first "big break" in 1997 this break came in the form of Blur, Silt toured along side the British band when Damon Albarn announced they were the best band to ever come out of Iceland.
Since then the boys have matured (perhaps in a kinda crazy alternate way) writing and performing their strongest records to date.
The In Line EP is a rock EP but with unique charisma, an array of melodies. From loud "shouting" to faint whispers, energy never lacks when listening to this band. All the songs on the EP grew from original rock roots and then evolved into something volcanic and unique. Just like their home land.
