Having been signed to Universal / Motown and watch them make a real pigs ear of her debut album Sharissa moves to Virgin. The headstrong urban fan will know of this talent already but for the majority of people this will be here debut set. The lead single from the album is the stunning retro sounding “I Got Love”, a track that samples soul legend Curtis Mayfields “The Making Of You” to breathtaking effect and talking of breathtaking Sharissa is some vocalist. Lyrically this is as strong as the vocal performance as Sharissa explains about all the good things her man does for her compared to her previous loves. I just hope this track gets the props it deserves and this ends up being a monster for this awesome talent. 4/5
