Taken from current covers album, “Studio 150,” Paul Weller treats us to another taster of what is to come, with his follow-up to “The Bottle,” a touching cover of the Rose Royce classic “Wishing On A Star.” An emotional and relaxed affair made so by Weller’s soulful vocals, and a musical wealth of harps, and strings.

Understandably not as sparkling as the original, but a special and unique take on a familiar classic, and an impressive take on Weller’s new direction.
