Remember the early 90s, when plaid ruled the earth? Nine Black Alps do, and they also know what a 'lick' is judging from new single 'Just Friends'. Kurt n Keef would be so proud. Well they would if it wasn't just, how you say...a bit studied, a little too detached and not all that special. The triumph of this band throughout the music press shall forever remain a mystery to me. In my head they were doomed to support band-dom and I was staying in the bar. Ah well, shows what I know.
