My Vitriol - Moodswings & The Gentle Art of Choking Reviewed
My Vitriol My Vitriol release new single Moodswings & The Gentle Art of Choking (Double A Side Single) Moodswings & The Gentle Art of Choking
(Double A Side Single)
Infectious UK
My Vitriol have become very popular in a short space of time, with hits under their belt like Grounded that was lifted off their debut album Finelines.
Moodswings is the bands first release for over a year, most of My Vitriol's songs are pretty similar with Som Wardner's Trademark vocals and twisted melodies. Although Moodswings could be described as a refreshing change, a lot more rocky and more well thought out than most of the songs released off Finelines The Gentle Art of choking is more of the classical My Vitriol, with some heavy guitars when listening you cant help but be reminded of Muse minus Muse's classical influences and the drama.
Both the new singles are taken from a fourth coming album Between the Lines this is due for release on the 29th of July. Between the Lines is a double CD album featuring unreleased versions of old My Vitriol songs, acoustic songs, new songs and a couple of cover versions.
The band will be touring the UK in July:
Wednesday 10th - Edinburgh Liquid Rooms
Thursday 11th - Sheffield Leadmill
Friday 12th - Manchester MDH
Sunday 14th - Dudley JB's
Monday 15th - Portsmouth Pyramids
Tuesday 16th - Norwich Waterfront
Friday 19th - London Astoria
