Temposhark - Invisible Ink - Single Review
Invisible Ink
‘Invisible Ink’ is a futuristic track that to me shows elements of the Portishead sound that in my book is a compliment to the extreme. It has that progressive use of synth sounds, break beats and a nice touch of tabla at the start of the track. It evolves to be a subliminal mind expander of a song with touches of heavy electro punches to give an industrial feel. The lyrics are emotive and are sung by the male lead singer who performs in a soft and eerie way with a real touch of sensitivity. It creates a progressive electro track that has a live and fairly dark feel and I’m sure it could appeal to a wide range of people. ‘Little White Lie’ the other track on this single is sexier and a lot heavier. The lyrics express the tales of adultery and how a ‘Little White Lie’ couldn’t hurt anyone so it has a definite dark side complimented by a big industrial sound. Overall Temposhark are creating progressive music for those electro heads with challenging lyrics and a lot of depth.
