Border Crossing Feat. Jehst - The Alias Border Crossing Feat. Jehst - The Alias - Single Review Border Crossing
Feat. Jehst - The Alias

Border Crossing are from West London and it would seem that it is the place to be judging by the concoction of influences these guys seemed to have absorbed. This track is fresh. It is hip hop however the sound is more progressive. The music seems to have all the right urban influences to create a smooth rhythm with crisp beats and cleverly incorporates ethereal sounds to give an intelligence to the music. Need a comparison: Massive Attack. Jehst is one of Britain’s best underground MC’s who should become a household name in years to come. On this track he continues to deliver clever lyrics in a sharp and subtle flow. Other tracks on the single, ‘Searching for Mr Manuva,’ are equally as good and shows an emphatic performance from Ricky Rankin. It’s times like this that I’m proud to be British.
