The Voom Blooms - Politics And Cigarrettes Single Review

The Voom Blooms
'**
Politics and Cigarrettes' Fiction
March 20th**

The Voom Blooms carry a health warning. Literally. Avoid 46p tins of Corned Beef. Seriously. Canned meat good aside, 'Politics and Cigarrettes' has all the right ingredients; the searing guitar scaping of Interpol, precision staccato drumming and George Guildfords raw yearning vocals make for a real fragile listening pleasure. 'Thoughts of Rena' carries similar downbeat sentiments and infectiously anthemic chorus of 'We can dance, dance, dance till 2am maybe?' Mighty fine all round.
