People might be aware of ‘Rocker’ by Alter Ego as it’s been played a lot on radio and has been an underground hit in the dance circles all year. What’s cool about this track is its originality and no nonsense attitude. ‘Rocker’ is purely made up of synth effects, computer bleeps and a driving drum machine. The sound is very industrial and hard-hitting. The pauses in the music that is then followed seriously deep synth sounds makes for an engrossing experience. It all kinda’

works and it really stands out as a progressive track for metal heads, ravers and for those looking for something different. The Eric Prydz mix is awesome, really trancey.
