The Loose Cannons - Make The Face - Album Review The Loose Cannons
Make The Face

If your looking for sassy, cool dance music The Loose Cannons ‘Make The Face’ could be the one for you. There’s a real mix of styles here. It’s kind of electro-pop with some strong vocals. ‘Got It All Wrong’ makes for a most interesting track. It’s real down deep and dirty. They fused breakbeat drumming with old school deep house laced with repetitive singing to make a unique heavy dance experience. ‘Almost On Fire’ is more downlow. It’s more for those classy cocktail bars full of pretty people, or an after club conversion winner. There’re really nice

female vocals on this track. ‘Superstars’ you may have heard before. Heavy synths and ambient sound effects make for an uplifting soulful track. ‘Out 4 The Nite’ has a more disco-electro pop sound that is well worked with some Groove Armada style freestyle(similar to Superstyling) and catchy chorus that make it well funky.

Overall The Loose Cannons have made a diverse group of progressive tracks, some upbeat and some slow, that all have a sassy undertone and definitely work well.
