News & Reviews 13. Arthur Baker Breakin (12" - Perfecto) Perfecto have already had loads of plaudits for their Timo Mass and Paul Oakenfold compilations. Learning from their successes they have now decided to release an album of original productions by legendary American producer Arthur Baker. From a man responsible for seminal music moments such as Planet Rock, Blue Monday and Put The Needle On The Record you pretty much know without even listening that this is going to be a quality release.
The album Breakin will consist of two CDs; one of New Skool collaborations and remixes and one of Old Skool originals. This limited trainspotter vinyl package sees Felix Da Housecat face to face with Mr Baker on the up tempo 2-step rocker Quiet Riot and DJ Face head to head on the electro-retro Jamaica. A welcome introduction to a no doubt top class album.
