News & Reviews 2. Dilated Peoples Worst Comes To Worst (12" - Capitol) We havent heard anything from Dilated Peoples for quite some time but their silence is soon to be broken. After enjoying an ecstatic response to their debut album over a year ago, the crew are no doubt hoping for a similar reaction to their follow up, Expansion Team.
The first single to be released from the album, Worst Comes To Worst gets them off to a promising start. With an ultra catchy Curtis Mayfield style guitar riff and the unmistakable vocal of Gangstarrs Guru alongside more solid rapping from MCs Iriscience and Evidence, this is hip-hop at its tastiest and most accessible.
The B sides Target Practice is a touch harder but no less impressive.
