Hucknall 'Betrays' Mother

[Simply Red](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/simply-red) crooner [Mick Hucknall](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/mick-hucknall) has been disowned by his own mother again - because she's unable to trust him.

MAUREEN TAYLOR walked out in Hucknall and his father when the singer was just three years old - but later reconciled with him on the understanding the pair would never talk about their experiences in public.

However, Taylor has disowned Hucknall once more after the [Stars](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/stars) hitmaker reportedly claimed she had told him she was suffering from cancer in order to force a reconciliation.

She says, "It's disgusting. I love Michael, but I don't know how I can trust him again. I feel betrayed.

"I've never had cancer and I've never pretended to."
