Fiennes Quits Surfing After Accident

British actor [Joseph Fiennes](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/joseph-fiennes) has given up surfing after wiping out and almost knocking himself out in Australia last year (02).

The SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE star had to be taken to hospital by a pal after tearing his lip open on a rock.

Fiennes says, "I feel safer on dry land."
