Hopkins Shows Off His Dance Moves

SIR [Anthony Hopkins](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/anthony-hopkins) hopes his childhood friends and relatives see his dancing scenes in new movie THE HUMAN STAIN - because it will prove he's not a "moron" after all.

The movie star has to dance with [Gary Sinise](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/gary-sinise) in the new movie and he was more nervous about stepping out in those scenes than filming sex scenes with [Nicole Kidman](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/nicole-kidman).

He says, "I didn't think I could do it. When I was a student I was told I was a motor-moron, that I couldn't dance. I hate dancing, quite honestly. I think I was embarrassed by it as a

little kid.

"It's such an exercise in futility. They got us this dance choreographer from New York and I said, 'I don't know how to

do this.'

"I'm built like a carthorse and I'm not the most graceful man in the world, but I thought, 'Hell, let's do it.' I think it turned out alright."
