Nicholson Goes Nude

[Jack Nicholson](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/jack-nicholson) once experimented with a life of nudity in a bid to liberate himself.

The three times OSCAR-winner decided to discard his clothes permanently to help him shed his inhibitions.

Writing in the 50th anniversary issue of [Playboy](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/playboy) magazine, Nicholson says, "I once decided that I would get over being self-conscious about nudity, so I did an experiment. I lived in my house as a nudist. Once I decide to do something, I don't do it partially, so when I did this, I was nude no matter who came by.

"[Roger Corman](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/roger-corman) (producer pal) came by and didn't like it much. My daughter understandably didn't like it. [Harry Dean Stanton](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/harry-dean-stanton) loved it. He couldn't wait to come over and be nude."
