Beyonce Hits Out At Homophobic Rumours

Sexy singer [Beyonce Knowles](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/beyonce-knowles) has furiously denied reports she is homophobic - after comments she made about [Madonna](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/madonna)'s kiss with [Britney Spears](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/britney-spears) were taken out of context.

The [Crazy In Love](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/crazy-in-love) beauty, 22, was horrified when she saw the offending headline accompanying a story about her performance at the MTV VMA AWARDS in August (03) which read: "God Let Me Strip On Stage But Not Kiss Girls."

Inside the article, the deeply-religious singer was quoted as saying, "I have standards. There are things I will not do."

But Beyonce - who insists she is a staunch supporter of homosexual rights - told American gay magazine HX: "It hurt. Because it was a headline, people thought I said it. But it never came out of my mouth."
