Coogan Makes Booze Blunder With Perry

British comedian [Steve Coogan](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/steve-coogan) embarrassed himself at London's exclusive IVY restaurant recently, when he sent over a bottle of champagne to recovering alcoholic [Matthew Perry](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/matthew-perry)'s table.

FRIENDS star Perry - a huge fan of Coogan's classic TV character ALAN PARTRIDGE - paid for the AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS actor's meal as a gesture of his appreciation.

And Coogan only discovered his blunder when Perry, who has had a well-publicised battle with the bottle, sent the expensive drink back.

Coogan says, "I then sent over a bottle of Diet Coke instead."
