The 28-year-old Irish actor is so smitten with the sexy singer he's told pals he can't wait to give her a helping hand when she goes to Los Angeles early next year (05) to hold talks with agents about various film offers.

A close source says, "Colin clearly has the hots for Jamelia, even though she's not interested in a romantic fling.

"He thinks she's beautiful and that her music is great. He reckons she's got bags of talent and has the ability to become a huge success in the movie business.

"And they'll certainly have a laugh together in Los Angeles - it can be a very lonely place."
