About A Boy Star Commits Suicide

A British actress who starred alongside [Hugh Grant](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/hugh-grant) in [About A Boy](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/about-a-boy) has stabbed herself to death in her London flat.

FRITHA GOODEY, who played a jilted ex-girlfriend in the 2002 movie, was discovered in her Notting Hill home by her father.

The 32-year-old, who has appeared in a number of UK TV programmes, had left a suicide note.

A neighbour says, "I last saw her on Monday (06SEP04). She seemed happy, although obviously concerned about the insecurity of working as an actress.
