Bergman Attacks 'Boring' Godard

Swedish director [Ingmar Bergman](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/ingmar-bergman) has hit out at fellow film-maker JEAN-LUC GODARD, branding him a "f\*\*king bore".

The 86-year-old [Fanny and Alexander](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/fanny-and-alexander) movie legend claims Godard simply made films to please critics - and has slammed the French maverick's style as "mind-numbing".

He remarks, "I've never got anything out of (his) movies.

"They have felt constructed, faux intellectual and completely dead. Cinematographically uninteresting and infinitely boring.

"Godard is a f\*\*ing bore."
