According to movie website MOVIEHOLE.NET, the ER star is in "serious consideration" for the vacant 007 role, suggesting that rumours of a return for [Pierce Brosnan](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/pierce-brosnan) are just that.

According to an insider at Bond franchise headquarters EON, Campbell does have a say in who gets cast as the next superspy and the director is a fan of the moody Croatian.
