Jay Kay Infuriates Mp By Smoking Joint

JAMIROQUAI star [Jay Kay](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/jay-kay) infuriated his local Member of Parliament by smoking cannabis in front of him.

The VIRTUAL INSANITY singer refused to put out the joint at February's (05) [Brit Awards](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/brit-awards), despite LIBERAL DEMOCRAT leader CHARLES KENNEDY's disapproving looks.

But he was horrified to learn Kennedy is the MP for Ross, Skye and Inverness West in Scotland, where Jay Kay has a house.

He says, "I was smoking a joint at the Brits and he was looking down at me, so I politlely said, 'What are you looking at?'

"The funny thing is, I've got a house up in Scotland, and I recently found out he's my local MP.'"
