Bellucci Awarded Globo D'oro

Screen siren [Monica Bellucci](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/monica-bellucci) will receive the EUROPEAN GOLDEN GLOBE cinema gong at the annual Italian foreign press association award ceremony on 2 July (05).

The association, who are also awarding film-maker siblings PAOLO and [Vittorio Taviani](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/vittorio-taviani) with a lifetime achievement GLOBO D'ORO, honoured the sexy MATRIX star in a bid to encourage budding Italian actors.

A press association spokesperson says they are keen to reach "the young generations of Italian actors who build an international career, in order to encourage young Italian cinema."
