Usher Slams Make-Over Shows

[Usher](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/usher) has hit out at reality make-over TV shows - because they encourage Americans to be too obsessed with physical beauty.

The pop star takes particular distaste with the way TV promises a quick fix solution to 'ugliness' - insisting people should learn to love themselves for how they are.

He says, "Acne was one of the hardest things I dealt with in high school. I still deal with it. But you have to learn to love who you are instead of trying to change everything.

"That show on [MTV](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/mtv) where people get made over to look like celebrities is the worst show I've ever seen! It's building an America without self-confidence. Learn to enjoy your own personal beauty. You might have a big nose, but so what? It's your nose."
