Tennant Looking Forward To Working With Piper On Dr Who

Heart-throb British actor [David Tennant](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/david-tennant) is excited about co-starring with [Billie Piper](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/billie-piper) on British sci-fi TV show [Dr Who](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/doctor-who), because he can't get enough of her "spunky" sex appeal.

The BRIGHT YOUNG THINGS star will replace [Christopher Eccleston](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/christopher-eccleston) in the title role for the revamped programme's second series - and working alongside Piper was a major attraction.

He says, "I've been admiring her in the show. She's absolutely perfect. Spunky and quick and sexy - just the ideal companion. I'm very, very pleased she's doing the whole series."

Piper agreed to stay on for the second series following Eccleston's departure when BBC bosses offered her a massive payrise - she will earn $350,000 (GBP210,000) for 13 episodes.
