Green Day Top Radio Music Awards Nominations

[Green Day](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/green-day)'s amazing year continues - the rock trio has picked up eight Radio Music Award nominations.

The Grammy Award-winning group lead the way for the Las Vegas, Nevada prizegiving next month (19DEC05).

Among the categories they'll be fighting for are Artist of the Year/Alternative and Active Rock Radio; Artist of the Year/Rock Radio; Artist of the Year/Adult Hit Radio, and Song of the Year/Mainstream Hit Radio (BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS).

The latest accolades came on the same day after the group took home two honours at the MTV Europe Music Awards (03NOV05).

AMERICAN IDOL star [Kelly Clarkson](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/kelly-clarkson) comes in a distant second with five nominations, while [Usher](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/usher), 50 CENT and [Ciara](https://contactmusic.6lgx.com/ciara) share four nods apiece.
