Sixx Loves People Thinking He Can't Play Bass

Motley Crue rocker Nikki Sixx enjoys his reputation for being unable to play his bass guitar, because his hidden instrumental prowess always amazes fellow musicians. Despite having been a professional rock star for 25 years, Sixx is as well-known for his hedonistic lifestyle as he is for his music. He tells American magazine Blender, "There's this thing out there that I can't play bass. "Every time I jam with some other musicians, they're like, 'Damn, dude! You're a pretty good bass player!' And I'm like, 'Yeah. I've toured the world 20 times, you know? Played in front of millions and millions of people.'"
